amie Seabrook, 6th Degree American Kenpo Karate Black Belt, and black belt holder in three other martial art styles (Modern Arnis, Black Dragon Kung Fu, and Shorinji-Ryu Karate) teaches the complete American Kenpo
Karate system as taught by the late Grandmaster Ed Parker. Students will learn practical and logical street self-defense, and will develop greater self-esteem, humility, self-control, focus, discipline, and perseverance. Students can also expect to increase flexibility, coordination, and strength. At our school, unlike many others, you will not find a class full of kids with black belts on. You must earn your rank through years of commitment and sacrifice. Jamie Seabrook instructs all classes.
Jamie Seabrook's Kenpo Karate is the Canadian Representative school for the Chinese Karate Federation (CKF) under the direction of Senior Professor Sean Kelley, a 7th Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate. The CKF board of directors includes such greats as Rainer Schulte, Bill "Superfoot" Wallace, and Ranger Gary Lee O'Neal. In addition to the Kenpo Karate training offered, Jamie Seabrook's Kenpo Karate is also an affiliate school of the World Karate Kobudo Jiu Jitsu Federation (WKKJF), and a sanctioned Kickboxing/Karate Council (WKC) school.
Jamie Seabrook has been training in Kenpo Karate for the past 26 years. He is a member of the Masters Hall of Fame (2000), and received his 6th Degree black belt directly under Grandmaster Larry Tatum (2004). Jamie Seabrook won the gold medal in Kenpo Karate Forms, and the silver medal in sparring at the 2006 LTKKA World Kenpo Karate Championships in Baltimore, Maryland. He has also produced several world champion gold medalists, and continues to spread the art of American Kenpo via seminars locally, nationally, and internationally.

As one of the last few who had been a personal student under Senior Grandmaster Ed Parker, the founder of American Kenpo Karate that is taught globally, I endorse Jamie Seabrook's Kenpo Karate School as the official Chinese Karate Federation (CKF) Canadian Headquarters for those who wish to train in the authentic system as taught through our lineage and passed down by Professor Jamie Seabrook for the generations to follow. Professor Jamie Seabrook is not only a true carrier of the Kenpo Flame as an instructor, he also continues to study the 'DNA' structure of the art as a Science of Street Application, only to fine tune his own Principles and Concepts to grow as a martial artist. He is a man of honor, dignity, and faith who believes in family values. READ MORE

Welcome to Jamie Seabrook’s Kenpo Karate, located in London, Ontario, Canada. Our goal is to teach you practical self-defense, to improve your physical and mental health, and to provide an atmosphere most conducive for effective learning. At Jamie Seabrook’s Kenpo Karate, we do not teach “quick-fix” self defense, but rather are committed to the long-term rewards of consistent training. In today’s society, many people want to get to “get good fast”, but the reality is that proper skill comes from persistence, patience, discipline, and focus. In our children’s program, we teach kids how to improve their focus, to avoid fights, to submit to authority, to establish friendships with respectful people, and how to defend themselves if confronted with a threat. In our adult program, we teach practical self-defense techniques to save one’s life, principles of body momentum, methods of executing strikes, considerations of combat and general rules and principles of self-defense. Our kids program is a separate program from the adult curriculum as we do not believe that children should obtain the rank of black belt. Instead, you must earn your rank through hard work and commitment. We would be honored to have you in our program in 2011!
