amie Seabrook, 6th Degree American Kenpo Karate Black Belt, and black belt holder in three other martial art styles (Modern Arnis, Black Dragon Kung Fu, and Shorinji-Ryu Karate) teaches the complete American Kenpo
Karate system as taught by the late Grandmaster Ed Parker. Students will learn practical and logical street self-defense, and will develop greater self-esteem, humility, self-control, focus, discipline, and perseverance. Students can also expect to increase flexibility, coordination, and strength. At our school, unlike many others, you will not find a class full of kids with black belts on. You must earn your rank through years of commitment and sacrifice. Jamie Seabrook instructs all classes.
Jamie Seabrook's Kenpo Karate school is a chartered member of the Chinese Karate Federation (CKF) under the direction of Senior Professor Sean Kelley, a 7th Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate. The CKF is part of a Kenpo Alliance, with ties directly to such greats as Grandmaster Michael Robert Pick and Grandmaster Dave Hebler, Tony Cogliandro (9th Degree Kenpo Karate Black Belt), Rainer Schulte (8th Degree Kenpo Karate), and kickboxing legends Bill "Superfoot" Wallace and Joe Lewis.
Jamie Seabrook has been training in Kenpo Karate for the past 24 years. He is a member of the Masters Hall of Fame (2000), and received his 6th Degree black belt directly under Grandmaster Larry Tatum. Jamie Seabrook won the gold medal in Kenpo Karate Forms, and the silver medal in sparring at the 2006 LTKKA World Kenpo Karate Championships in Baltimore, Maryland. He has also produced several world champion gold medalists, and continues to spread the art of American Kenpo via seminars locally, nationally, and internationally.
